Welding/Fabrication

In 1974, WM Spence was established as a fabrication workshop and although we have added new technologies and techniques over the years, fabrication is still at the heart of the company. Through our ongoing apprenticeship scheme, that’s been in place since our inception, the fundamental skills of being a sheet metal worker have been passed down through the generations.

Our highly skilled fabrication department are proficient in both MIG and TIG welding and are vastly experienced in working with most types of metal. Combining these conventional fabrication skills with proven production techniques such as Lean, we are able to cost-effectively manufacture any project, whether it’s a custom item or a large scale batch production.
